we are currently looking for .NET DEVELOPER (willing to travel abroad).  stated below is the job description for the said position.

 

The role of the .Net Developer is to design, build, and maintain applications across all Salmat call centres. This role is for an experienced and professional developer, who has at least 2 years industry experience working across multiple developer tools and programs. Candidates who have experience working in a call centre (does not have to be an IT role) will be preferred due to the nature of this role.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop and test applications and other supporting applications

·         Maintain new and existing applications, and undertake enhancements to them as required

·         Proactively seek and suggest improvements and enhancements to the Salmat IT environment

·         Take responsibility for the successful deployment of developed products within the specified environments

·         Assist in the design of solutions

·         Support developed applications following release

·         Ensure all work is in source control.

·         Documentation of all work, including writing Technical Specifications.

·         Undertake problem diagnoses & correction and providing support for escalations

·         Responsibility for ensuring that all relevant jobs logged in the internal Helpdesk system are assigned, monitored and resolved in a timely manner

• Call Centre experience is not required, however preferable if candidate has experience in IT role in the call centre industry
• Candidates must poses a College / Bachelors Degree in IT
• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years industry experience across multiple developer tools / programs.

Special Circumstances:

• Candidate may be required to travel overseas as part of this role
• Candidate may be required to provide 24/7 support to business
• Candidate may be required to provide additional hours of work in times of peak work.
