You have a love-hate relationship with PHP because you can recite its pitfalls in your sleep. You know the LAMP stack backwards and sideways. You love to code, and have gone through at least the tutorial if not more with every programming language in existence (well almost..). You understand well the software architecture of a modern day web application and can start a holy war at the slightest mention of REST > SOAP. But above all you are always looking to write the perfect code.
Required skill(s):
* PHP (3 years), MySQL, CSS, HTML, Javascript AJAX, Jquery.
* A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
* Extensive experience in Codeigniter framework.
* Extensive experience in Java script frameworks (JQuery)
* Advanced understanding of object oriented programming and other structured programming principles
* Competent in the use of database systems primarily MySQL
* Competent in developing/deploying software in a Linux production environment (scripting, etc)
* Extensive experience debugging code and diagnosing problems in production systems
* Experienced with creating high availability and scalable systems
* Demonstrated knowledge of version control tools (e.g. Git, SVN)
* adhere to strict coding standards.
* Have your complete tool chain of PHP, MySQL, HTTP and JavaScript debugging tools ready at all times; and you are able to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
* Has excellent problem solving and analytical skills
* Can work independently as well as part of a team.

Familiarity with RSS/XML standards
Experience/ability in writing complex regular expressions to scrape data
Experience building web-based tools & applications
Database design & optimization experience
Experience in CMS (e.g. Wordpress, drupal )
Experience with Flash/Actionscript, CSS Visual C++ or C/C++
Strong understanding of SEO
