Web Developer

Job Description:

Qualified candidates will have at least 3-4 years of industry experience managing web and interactive media development projects. Knowledge of PHP, HTML, Javascript (jQuery - AJAX), MySQL, and XML etc. are a must as is any general experience with a wide range of web development technologies and frameworks. Previous industry experience in Digital Media, Web Development/Design, or Interactive Media is ideal. Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree.

Responsibilities:

· Wordpress plugins using PHP, jQuery, AJAX and MySQL

· Maintains existing CMS systems and helps design and develop client reporting tools

· Responds to new feature requests

· Can also handle ticketing/troubleshooting

Requirements:

· Wordpress Experience (Specifically plugin development) a HUGE plus.

· HTML/CSS (hand-coding only!)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Superior time management skills

· Software development cycle fundamentals

· Object-oriented design (OOD) experience

· Software debugging
