Technical Project Lead

(National Capital Region - Makati City, Philippines)

We are currently on the look out for Technical Project Lead to oversee the implementations of our Lending product. The ideal candidate would have to demonstrate abilities in delivering large projects and meeting customer business requirements.

Roles:

·        Systems design, responsible for overall technical system design. Creates detailed project proposals, technical systems specifications, and detailed technical design documentation.

·        Project Management, works in conjunction with the Project Manager to develop project/implementation plans. Responsible for executing project/implementation plans once developed. Works with the project team to ensure adherence to the organization standards and procedures. Responsible for the coordination of release activities including testing and implementation. Works with the project team to determine level of effort for planning, designing, testing, enhancing, and schedule implementation.

·        Creation of Standards, responsible for establishing, documenting, maintaining, and enforcing standards for requirements definition, detailed technical design documentation, code/configuration, test plans, implementation plans, conversion plans, and post-implementation plans.

·        Code/Configuration Reviews, responsible for working with the DBA to review code/configuration for completeness, clarity, and supportability. Recommends changes where appropriate.

·        Evaluates, configures, tests, implements and provides technical support for assigned hardware and software platforms of considerable size and complexity. Third party outsourcing is utilized where applicable, to meet customer requirements and needs.

·        Performs maintenance/upgrades on hardware and software, as required.

·        Supports users of assigned systems in problem resolution, training and general support.

·        Works with the System Administrator, Engineers to ensure that all assigned business systems and applications have defined, operational and tested backup and recovery processes for critical data and files.

·        Analyzes existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness, recommends improvements and develops new systems to improve production or work flow, as required.

·        Utilizes desktop computing application tools and techniques which support customers and business objectives.

·        Develops and maintains current, personal knowledge and skills on industry and professional trends and activities in Information Technology.

·        May direct or support activities with third party contractors to meet customer requirements and needs.

·        Ensures that learning is shared and coaching is applied for knowledge transfers between peers and third party contractors.

·        Prepares activity and progress reports regarding system development activities

·        Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·        Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in an IT related course or equivalent

·         At least 5 years industry experience

·        At least 3 years J2EE experience

·        Experience in Agile and Waterfall development

·        Experience of Object Oriented Design principles and database architecture design

·        Demonstrated experience in leading end to end solution delivery

·        Proven ability to work with people while achieving high quality results

·        Proven ability to plan and organize workload, set priorities while meeting tight deadlines

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

·        Demonstrate a willingness to take on challenging roles and responsibilities while able to adapt positively to changing working conditions and priorities

·        Willing to work in Makati City, Philippines

·        Work experience or knowledge in Loans Origination Solutions or Lending Software will be an advantage.
